Interview - Part 1

Interview - Part 1

An interview with concert pianist Elena Piccione.

Question 1 (Q1)

How would your introduction sound ?

How would you present yourself ?

Answer 1 (A1)

I'm a musician. Or at least, that's what I've been doing for 20 years. I'm just a human being with a very strong desire of freedom and love, like everyone else, I suppose.
I love nature, silence, writing. I wouldn't define these as hobbies but more as spiritual needs.

Q2

How would you describe music ?

A2

Music is the most powerful and direct way to embrace the human soul, with all its facets and contrasts. A pure act of love.

Q3

What should be the title of this interview ?

A3

Interview - Part 1

Q4

What is your interest in science ?

A4

Music is part of the quadrivium, together with arithmetic, geometry and astronomy. Science is closely connected to music and I believe that a good knowledge of science can bring only good to music and vice versa.

Q5

How did you find your preferred instrument ?

A5

By sheer chance. I come from Walt Disney's world as I became interested in playing the trumpet with his movie "The Aristocats". I was only 5 and I was too young to start playing that instrument, so I started with piano and I've never given up. Maybe my favourite instrument is violin and I love the warm sound of viola but I must say ... piano is pretty cool too! (Smile)

Q6

Would you like to interview me for a second story in my website ?

A6
Well, yes. Sure! I read your intro on your website and would love to know more about you!

Q7

Please describe a typical day in your life. What is the structure ?

A7

I don't have a typical day but I do have some "rituals". Coffee, think, do. Coffee, think, do. Coffee, think, do. On top of this, my motto: "Love as much as you can love and do as much as you can do, for those you love and for those who love you".

[bravo]

Ann Change and Lost
25 May 2017
Well, my plans changed today or should I say they were cancelled. I sat lost for a few hours, lost in thought, lost in the moment. It was a lovely thing. I realize I can change and go forward with some nice freedom, inspired by this story. I stopped a moment and wrote this comment and now I go.
Ann Clinic Dream

Nice recount! Dreams are an interesting glance into our minds and seem quite elusive for me, remembering dreaming and forgetting the content most times. Is there something I am missing? Probably
Ann Clinic Rules

good rules vs bad rulesFollowing rules was extreme programming from infancy for me. First rule: You are here to help your mother, You are the servant of your family. I was taught to be an adult as an infant and only recently found the un-nurtured infant inside. In finding my infant I was able to stop crying for what seemed to be no reason. I have learned through much therapy that some rules are a method of abuse. I have learned to use better judgement in following rules. Some rules are for our...

Monique I'm really comfortable in this site because I can see that your art is being frequently visited and is fantastic around here. If I Habar your visual art say that the gamma is the most beautiful blue that I saw in my life if I talk about your poetry, I just have to say that is still outstanding.
