is conceptualized and designed in Sint Maarten, the Netherlands Antilles by Hilma ten Cate and Rose Marie Lemmens and implemented and tried and tested in the selected region of Southern France.

Balance in Action introduces you to powerful tools and practices we've discovered and developed to help you to gain insights, access the limitless sources of your own organic, creative whole brain functioning. You will be able to apply these in your own life, organization and community.

This is a time of transition, that is calling for bringing more balance, flow and relax within activities in general and their outcome …at the level of individuals (latest scientific insights about brain functioning, health, human development and behavior) as well as in education, business, industry and society in general.

Something big is stirring among people around the world…

More than ever before, men and women are feeling called to move away from the old paradigm (left brain functioning, ‘dominator behavior’) which leads to ‘burn out’ of individuals, organizations, resources and nature, planet Earth.

The most important change is that people want to source power in a different and in a healthier way.

A New Kind of Power: Co-creativity, Whole Brain Functioning

whatiskairos2
We are awakening to and cultivating a new, co-creative, whole brain functioning, which includes more right brain ways of power and being.

Right brain functioning: integrates and includes all the gains of ‘masculine power’, giving us access to a kind of co-creativity we’ve never seen in our recorded history. Most of us have had few or no models for this kind of co-creative power and have no idea how to start to begin to cultivate it.

The power we have been mastering for the last decades to shape the world has been a ‘masculine’ version of power

Until now, power has been defined exclusively in masculine terms. If you look up the word “power” in the dictionary, the definition given is the ability “to do, to act, to accomplish, to wield, command or control over others”.

This masculine power system has given us the miracles of science and the marvels of industry. It has enabled us to create an unprecedented standard of living and have opportunities beyond our grandparents’ wildest dreams.

It’s an odd paradox that the kind of power that has brought us to this point is not the power that we now need to move forward.

Indeed, if we look at what’s missing from our lives and from our world we can see that the things we most deeply desire—such as connection, collaboration, belonging, creativity, self-expression, aliveness, meaning, purpose, contribution, love, intimacy, and a brighter future for generations to come—can’t be created with a system of power based on control, analysis and logical, linear thinking, nor can they be executed with a strategic plan.

To create these qualities we need to awaken a different kind of power.

Ann Change and Lost
25 May 2017
Well, my plans changed today or should I say they were cancelled. I sat lost for a few hours, lost in thought, lost in the moment. It was a lovely thing. I realize I can change and go forward with some nice freedom, inspired by this story. I stopped a moment and wrote this comment and now I go.

Nice recount! Dreams are an interesting glance into our minds and seem quite elusive for me, remembering dreaming and forgetting the content most times. Is there something I am missing? Probably
Ann Clinic Rules

good rules vs bad rulesFollowing rules was extreme programming from infancy for me. First rule: You are here to help your mother, You are the servant of your family. I was taught to be an adult as an infant and only recently found the un-nurtured infant inside. In finding my infant I was able to stop crying for what seemed to be no reason. I have learned through much therapy that some rules are a method of abuse. I have learned to use better judgement in following rules. Some rules are for our...
